After the loss of my daughter, my husband encouraged me to buy my “own” horse. The stallion that came into my heart is The Other Side, AQHA. He was a willful, stubborn, brat of a horse- at least until I realized he was only showing me-myself! The magic, God gave me in this wonderful horse (his barn name became OZ), allowed my heart to heal. Oz and I grew together, learned together and even became the local all around champions. His name is well know here. Two years ago(at the age of 21) he was gelded and now is the number one, best, therapy horse here at Prospect Mountain Therapeutic Riding Center, pmtrc.org (started on our ranch to share in the wonderful effects/healing horses have on helping others). Students ask for him by name and seem to gravitate to his warm, loving nature. Therapeutic Riding Centers are in need of these extra wonderful animals, so please donate.
